The SP25M combines two sensors in one probe and offers great flexibility. Users can measure shapes, positions and dimensions with one of the four different scanning modules or probe individual measuring points with high precision.
The small size in connection with the automatic mount allows the SP25M to be directly adapted to the PH10M / MQ and PH6M. The probe can also be mounted at the end of an auto mount extension, which improves accessibility and increases the range by 50 mm (PEM1) or 100 mm (PEM2).
Four different scanning modules with non-Cartesian deflection offer exceptional dynamic behavior with minimal measurement uncertainty over a stylus length range of 20 mm to 400 mm effective working length. This avoids a loss of accuracy, as is found in other scanning probes with increasing stylus length.
"Scanning sensor" and
"Switching probe"
Scanning creates a large amount of data,
sufficient for complex components
to be able to determine. Especially when
several characteristics (size and shape) of a
Component to a counterpart. In this case
scanning systems are the best solution.
However, there are also many
details that have no shape measurement
need (e.g. small threaded holes,
Recesses or dowel holes).
These features can therefore be combined with a
switching probe is sufficient
be measured.
Compared to the scanning sensor, it takes a lot of points
switching measuring the optimal solution.
The SP25M was designed for both applications,
Scanning and switching measurement
developed. All TP20 modules can
be used.
The result is maximum flexibility in order to
best selection of styli configuration to meet your special measuring task
- and at the same time accuracy and productivity
to increase.

With the use of the innovative RENSCAN ™ technology
and the exceptional flexibility becomes a excellent
scanning performance on traditional coordinate measuring machines and
optical measuring devices.
